There are many ways to get involved in the World Café!
- Attend a World Café. To find out about events that are open to the public, check the Calendar, contact the regional steward in your area, or query others in the online community space.
- Host a World Café. Consider hosting a World Café for your organization, community, or group. This website provides resources for hosting a World Café, and you will find experienced café hosts in the online community space who are generous in sharing their expertise about many facets of planning and conducting World Cafés.
- Share your stories. The World Café community learns and grows through stories shared by those who host or participate in World Cafés. Please consider sharing a story about your café experience in the online community story section.
- Capture and share your photos, videos and audio recordings. Contributing to the growing collection of photographs, video, audio tapes and other representations of Word Cafés around the world is a great way to participate in the World Café community, Please post photos from cafés you have hosted or attended on Flickr … and be sure to tag them with “theworldcafe” so others in the community can easily find them. You are also welcome to send photos and/or any video or audio recordings you have to the webmistress, and she will post them for you.
- Get involved in the World Café virtually as a participant in our online community space or by contributing to the World Café blog. If you are interested in the creation of 'hospitable space' online by serving as a host for conversations in the online community, or if you are willing to be a 'buddy' and help others become comfortable in the online environment, please contact Amy Lenzo .
- Meet others in your community, region, or field who are interested in the World Café. Search the Directory, contact a regional steward in your area or post a message in the online community conversation areas letting others know of your interest in connecting.
- Make a financial or in-kind contribution to support the World Café. Learn more about Ways to Contribute.
