Tom Hurley of the World Café Community Foundation has created an Overview and Invitation document (pdf:2.9M) to assist in finding resourcing partners for the ongoing co-evolution of the World Café. Book publisher Berrett Koehler interviewed Juanita Brown for one of the first of their new author video series. Check it out!

There are now 7 translations of the World Café book! Translation teams in Japan, Taiwan, and Germany have been working for months and their results are finally on the bookshelves, joining exisiting translations in Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish. Café Asia:
In this wonderful series of photographs (be sure to read the text accompanying each image!) Manish Jain shares the story of a 5-day Community Media Gathering where over 35 artists, artisans and media activists came together in a "learning-edge" World Café to share their concerns, experiences and skills in producing and sharing media.

California Bay Area:
The bay area World Café team hosted a multi-generational Café in Alameda.

La Palomilla:
Ana Cristina Maldonado and Community Technology Steward Amy Lenzo have put up a Spanish page as the first step towards a full Spanish translation of the World Café website.

Here is the latest issue of el boletin del World Cafe Latino, and we've added Spanish versions of World Café book graphics to the Resource Cybrary.

The World Café is featured in Alex Steffen's guide to the 21st C, WorldChanging (published by Abrams) under 'Tools for Talking'. This is a great book, recently released in paperback - it's a pleasure to be associated with it.

Juanita Brown and the World Café Community have a chapter in the upcoming book, Collective Intelligence, edited by Robert Steele. (the chapter has already been translated into Portuguese by Ronaldo Richieri)

Juanita did a recent radio show on WRPI "RSVP to Life" with host Chris Carey.

Exciting New Multimedia Tools...

The World Café hosted it's first World Café in Second Life, in collaboration with the Rockridge Institute. Read the whole story here.

We still have a space to develop in the 'International Info' grid on Second Life. so if you are interested in being part of the building and/or hosting team, please contact amy@theworldcafe.com.

Our colleagues at the Art of Hosting  have added a Cybrary link to a number of great videos on the ArtofHostingTV.net channel, and we've added several new World Café videos, with more to come.
