The 11th Hour, a Leonardo DiCaprio film to be released in August, is not a portrait of a planet in crisis as much as an offering of hope and solutions. The film includes insights from over fifty of the world’s most prominent thinkers and activists, including reformer Mikhail Gorbachev, physicist Stephen Hawking, and Nobel Prize winner Wangari Maathai. The 11th Hour ends with a call for restorative action through reshaping human activity.

I was deeply inspired by this film!
I started a blog (as “jeffa”) at 11th hour action.com with a short inviting description of world cafe and links to main websites of world cafe and open space. Inviting other inspired people to connect with someone who might support them doing cafe/spaces in their communities.
I’m looking to connect with people who participated in the big SF and Berkeley film openings last weekend, where the post-film action conversations may have led to plans for 11th hour cafes, or at least a list of people who would welcome them.
And then back down to the Embarcadero with flyers about a cafe we’ll host in the city soon.
Anyone want to play?
