Berrett Koehler, publishers of The World Cafe: Shaping Our Futures Through Conversations That Matter, interviewed co-author Juanita Brown for one of the first of their new author video series:
World Café comes to SNCF

Pierre Goirand wrote the other day with a wonderful story about walking into a client’s office in the SNCF where he was totally surprised to see this poster of World Café principles on the wall (artwork by Lydia Djellouli)!
Apparently Sylvie Caruso (who was at the Dresden World Café last year with Pierre) and some of the staff at SNCF had been inspired by his example and taken the initiative to host a World Café on their own!
I love the way this work ripples out naturally, in ways we can’t even imagine.
Be the Change
I get occasional mail from KarmaTube sharing inspirational videos, and this one was so good I wanted to share it with you here. The people are speaking a language I don’t understand, but I love the ‘conversation’ that happens beyond words…
Reasoned Argument
This video makes hay with the question of whether or not global warming is the threat that environmentalists are warning us all about:
La Marguerite
Fresh as the daisy she’s using on her blog banner, Marguerite Manteau-Rao is a Frenchwoman living in America and writing about life as she sees it, through the lens of what she calls “green psychology”.
Her blog, La Marguerite, is a delightful and astute mix of environmental politics, broad cultural commentary, informative green news and philosophy, zen perspective, social networking and life online. I’m hooked! Have a look and see what you think…

Weihnachtskarte 2007
Apologies for my lateness – this came in from Ulrich Soeder at Integral Development on the 18th, but I didn’t see it until now!
