Our theme for the 2024 year of Community Cafes is “Deepening our Practice”. We will be using the World Cafe Design Principles as our guiding North Star, and each month, we will deepen our inquiry into one of the design principles.

Rilke’s invitation to live and to love questions has been with us as we are designing this month’s Community Cafes – focusing on the third World Cafe Design Principle: Exploring Questions that Matter.
We invite you to join us for a Community Cafe where we will be spending time in conversation about questions that matter. Sharing our own experiences as participants, as hosts, as human beings: what are questions that have shifted our perspective, maybe even changed our life? We’ll be exploring questions that we were asked – and questions we asked others. We are looking forward to hearing your stories and to digging a little deeper into the qualities and elements of powerful questions.
Whether you are a long-time practitioner of World Cafe or other participatory practices – or you are simply curious to experience a World Cafe – or you are drawn in by the topic – you are VERY welcome.
These Community Cafes give us as a global community a time to “lean in”; a time to listen to others and to speak our truth. A time to remember we are in this together.
