Our theme for the 2025 year of Community Cafes is “Breaths of Design”. In July, armed with the strategic insights we gained last month in our explorations of the 5th breath (Harvest), we will take those insights out into our wider systems and put them into practice, focusing on the 6th Breath: ACT, as we continue to notice what wants / needs to happen now.

Throughout the 2025 Community Cafes, we invite you on a journey with the “Breaths of Design” as our companion. The Breaths of Design are another lens, another approach to designing participatory gatherings, to preparing conversations, taking action on important topics and reflecting on the process.
