In four short stand-alone 2.5 hour sessions presented and co-hosted by World Cafe Steward Amy Lenzo, of weDialogue, Beyond Facilitation is designed for serious participatory practitioners who want to deepen the foundations of their practice.
The first two sessions are based on Mary Alice Arthur’s years of experience with and deep understanding of two priceless gifts developed by the Art of Hosting community for the field of participatory practice – The Fourfold Practice and the Eight Breaths of Process Architecture. Understanding these fundamentals will immediately deepen your practice, no matter what format/s you are using in your hosting practice.
In the last two sessions of Beyond Facilitation, Mary Alice blends leading-edge arts of participatory practice with a deep understanding of narrative, the “secret sauce” of extraordinary hosting. Presenting story and hosting in a unique and highly potent fusion, Mary Alice reveals story as an integral part of working with groups and shows us how to dance with it as one of your most trusted process partners.
