So much has changed in the ways how we work and how we spend our “free time” in the past year. For many of us, home office and home-schooling have made it more challenging to separate work and (family) life. For some, the crisis has also brought the need to take on even more work in order to be able to pay the bills.
And yet: hosting ourselves, taking care of our own needs is a vital part of (re-)balancing.
And for some of us, it’s not just about a balance between work and life – it can be balancing the different parts of our life – self-care, care for children & family, the needs of our community. And it’s not only about time – it’s also about space. What is the new space you are navigating now?
For some it might be finding a balance for the first time, for others, it may be finding your way back to balance.
This gathering provides a space to reflect together, without judging or comparing. Time to dig a little deeper into your own balancing acts and to learn from others how they (re-)find their balance.
This online Community Cafe is part of an ongoing series we host every month with and for the World Cafe community and for the Central Garden of participatory practices.
