This online Community Cafe is part of an ongoing series hosted every month with and for the World Café community and the wider “central garden” of participatory practitioners.
These Community Cafes offer us an opportunity to get to know one another, learn from our diversity, and weave the web of our international community.
This month we have an additional focus, beyond the topical theme (which will be focused on connections). Every year one of these Community World Cafes coincides with the World Cafe Hosting Fundamentals course we offer annually at Fielding Graduate University. We make that Community World Cafe a kind of “Teaching Cafe” as part of the course curriculum, giving the students (and everyone else) a bit of a meta-view into the World Cafe format … why we do the things we do, etc.
Co-hosted by Amy Lenzo, Director of the World Cafe Signature Learning Programs, and instructor for the Hosting Fundamentals course at Fielding.
