SUMMARY:Community Cafe September
DESCRIPTION:IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL \nThe purpose for these Community World Cafes is to offer a space for the community to be in conversation about what matters to us. \nCome – let’s take some time in community to sense into this moment and together see what might emerge from it. \nMany of us are realizing that the current situation we are in isn’t simply going to go away — we’re in it for “the long haul”. Whether we look at this time as a marathon\, a series of short “sprints”\, or time spent “on the bench” (voluntary or forced by circumstance)\, we all need to develop and strengthen the resilience that will serve the needs of our times.  Join us for inspiring conversations about being in it for “the long haul”.  \nWe are meeting on \nWednesday\nSeptember 9\, 2020\n10 am – 12.30 pm San Francisco | 1 – 3.30 pm New York |\n2 – 4.30 pm Rio de Janeiro | 7 – 9.30 pm Brussels\nONLINE \n  \nClick here for REGISTRATION\nFee: A sliding scale is offered. Let us know if the cost is a challenge. These Community Cafes are for all.\nFor Community Table subscribers: please use the code that you will find in the Community Table calendar. \nThis online Community Cafe is part of an ongoing series we host every month with and for the World Cafe community and for the Central Garden of participatory practices. \nThese Cafes offer us all an opportunity to get to know one another\, learn from our diversity\, and weave the web of our global perspective as an international community. \nYou’ll find more information about the Community Table on our website.
